We will evaluate your company’s eligibility and will later contact your PIC for this program.
The results of the application will be announced 6-8 weeks after the closing date.
Digitized Design to Manufacturing Program (DDTM) is a program under RMK-12. Its main objective is to enhance competencies of SMEs through training and accessibility to Mechanical Computer-Aided Design Tools. This is to enable SMEs to move up the value chain by acquiring the capabilities to undertake design and development activities and adopting Digitized Design To Manufacturing (DDTM) through collaboration with EEPN, MEPN, MPC & NCER.

- Receive x1 Solidworks CAD Software license for free (perpetual license, free maintenance for first year)
- Receive training on Solidworks for free
- Increase competency by attending training on Product Design competencies and mentoring

- Company is under SME category
- Company has Design and Development capability and personnel with CAD basic knowledge
- Preferably in E&E and/or M&E industry
- Malaysian or Malaysian-owned Company (>51% equity owned by Malaysian)
- No cost from SMEs to this program. However, the program does not provide hardware and SMEs have to prepare hardware which has minimum spec (refer to https://www.solidworks.com/support/system-requirements)
- In the case of trained internal personnel turnover during the program timeline, SMEs have to replace the resource and get them trained at their own cost.
1. All SMEs interested to join this DDTM Program have to fill in the Registration Form
2. Once your submission is received, the committee will evaluate your company’s eligibility for the program. During this period members of the committee will be contacting your Person In Charge ( PIC) provided in the Registration Form above.
2. The committee will arrange a visit to your site/facilities if needed.
3. The results of the application will be announced 6-8 weeks after the closing date.
4. SME will be contacted by phone/email.
5. SMEs joining this program has to agree to the Terms & Conditions of the DDTM Program.
1. SMEs need to assign a technical person to be in charge of the program
2. Mentoring and Solidworks progress review after 1 month of license installed with utilization rate >20% per month.
3. Progress update review after 3 and 9 months of license installed. The goal of the program is to facilitate SMEs in product generation towards commercialization and revenue increase.
4. In the case where the selected SMEs do not deliver the commitment during the monitoring period or wanted to drop from the program, the license will be revoked and the SMEs are required to pay a prorated amount of the maintenance cost. (Exempted for the case where unforeseen circumstances happen e.g. a company closed down due to the pandemic, etc)
5. If the license ownership is transferred, SMEs have the right to manage the license in terms of yearly maintenance, cloud storage subscriptions, or license upgrade at their own cost.
6. The program does not provide hardware( workstation/laptop), SMEs have to prepare hardware that has minimum spec (hardware specification link )
7. In the case of internal personnel turnover, SMEs have to replace the resource and get them trained at their own cost.
- In the case of the selected SMEs do not deliver the commitment during program monitoring period or wanted to drop the program, the license will be revoked and the SMEs are required to pay a prorated amount of the maintenance cost.
(Exempted for the case where unforeseen circumstances happen like company closed down due to pandemic, etc)
- Solidworks utilization rate >20% per month.
- Progress update (by online presentation) at month 1, month 3 and month 9 after lincense installed.
